Controversial patient drug, alcohol testing bill set aside

Following a heated debate on the New York state Assembly floor last week, a bill that would have prohibited drug, cannabis or alcohol testing and screening for pregnant or postpartum women without patient consent failed to pass after bi-partisan criticism.
