International guideline aims to help taper off opioids safely

Monash University shared the latest research and policy developments on opioid use in Australia where about 13.3million opioid prescriptions provided pain relief for almost 3million people 2021-22. In 2022, they were the most common drug class identified in toxicology for drug-induced deaths.
