Opioid analgesics in osteoarthritis treatment

 China’s Harbin Medical University and Peking University found that osteoarthritis ‘treated’ with opioid medications led to treatment discontinuation due to (triple) intolerable drug-related adverse effects including “serious outcomes related to addiction”.
