Predictive model for opioid addiction?

To combat the opioid epidemic, University of California San Diego School of Medicine will develop an AI model that will more accurately predict opioid addiction in high-risk patients. The project is funded through a 3-year contract with Wellcome Leap as part of a $50million initiative called Untangling Addiction.
