Teens who use cannabis: 11 times risk of psychotic disorder

Epidemiologic research suggests that youth cannabis use is linked to psychotic disorders – but evidence is based heavily on 20th-century data when cannabis was substantially less potent than today. University of Toronto found that teens who use cannabis are at an 11-fold higher risk of a psychotic disorder compared to non-users.
