Hospitals ‘full to the brim’ with alcohol admissions

Hospitals across Liverpool are “full to the brim” as the city faced soaring alcohol-related admissions in the last 12 months, the Echo reported. Alcohol specific admissions to hospital are “significantly above the England average”, with 4,890 admissions in the most recent 12-month period compared to 4,534 last year.
