Minister Colm Burke launched a report on Drug Use and Current Alternatives to Coercive Sanctions in Ireland. There is promise but the report notes the disparity in geographical coverage of such programmes, lack of widespread knowledge about existing initiatives and an absence of data to assess their effectiveness.
