Workforce drug tests with signs of tampering increased 633% from 2022-2023, an analysis of almost 9.8million workforce drug tests by Quest Diagnostics found. In 2023, substitution affected 0.11% of tests. Invalid urine specimens rose 45.2%, to 0.45% in 2023. Invalid urine drug tests suggest tampering.
