Hepatitis C has long been linked to injecting drugs – now the World Health Organization has prequalified the first HCV self-test. Called OraQuick HCV self-test and made by OraSure Technologies, it is an extension of the OraQuick HCV Rapid Antibody Test prequalified by WHO in 2017 for professional use.
