Drug deaths in London surge 43%

Drug poisoning deaths hit a 25-year high in London, as cocaine deaths in the capital surged by 43% in a year, analysis by the Standard of figures from the Office for National Statistic showed. Fatalities due to drug poisoning are at their highest since 1998.
