Alcohol kills 12 people per hour in Brazil

Fiocruz (Oswaldo Cruz Foundation) showed that alcohol consumption is responsible for 12 deaths per hour and costs Brazil R$18.8billion ($3.2billion) per year. The study was based on estimates of alcohol-attributable deaths made by the World Health Organization and public data.
