Cannabis linked to adolescent brain thinning

Université de Montréal et al found that cannabis use can lead to thinning of the cerebral cortex in adolescent mice and humans. It demonstrated that THC causes shrinkage of dendritic arborization, the neurons’ network of antennae that play a critical role in communication between brain cells.
