24% of ‘safer supply’ patients divert opioids

Canada’s Simon Fraser University et al found that many “safer supply” patients are diverting their taxpayer-funded opioids to the black market and are perhaps dishonest to researchers about defrauding the system. Worse, it appears that safer supply is not as effective separating addicts from street drugs as advocates claimed.
