AAC ransomware attack affects 410,747 patients

American Addiction Centers Inc confirmed that 410,747 (other sources say 422,424) current and former patients were affected by a cybersecurity incident and might have had their protected health information stolen. The unauthorized 3rd party did not obtain any financial or treatment information, HIPAA Journal shared.
