Alcohol deaths and alcohol affordability

The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare found that, when alcohol affordability rose, alcohol-attributable mortality rose in all income groups, particularly men in the low-income group. When alcohol affordability fell, alcohol-attributable mortality fell among men in all income groups, but more in the low-income group.
