CDC: 70% of overdose deaths involved fentanyl

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that overdose deaths in the US still remain high, with over 93,000 deaths reported  June 2023-June 2024.  The report also highlights a re-emergence of carfentanil, a synthetic opioid 100 times more potent than fentanyl.
