Key findings on evaluation of National Mission on Drug Deaths

Public Health Scotland’s evaluation of the National Mission on Drug Deaths showed positive impacts but also unintended negative consequences and missed opportunities, including not enough focus on: prevention and wider system determinants, non-opioid and polydrug use, resourcing frontline services and the risk to a genuine culture of learning and improvement around drugs.
