President Biden: clemency for almost 1,500 offenders

Yesterday President Biden commuted the sentences of close to 1,500 individuals placed on home confinement during the Covid-19 pandemic and who successfully reintegrated into their families and communities. He is the 1st president to issue categorical pardons to people convicted of use and possession of marijuana. See also: Second changes or justice undermined?
