Propensity to addiction from 1st drug use experience

A University of Texas et al study describes a novel approach for rats to self-administer cocaine and encounter aversion from that very first “high”. There seems to be 3 types of results: one which did not like and never took again, one starting low then using more – and one which started high on cocaine then levelled off.
