1/3rd of young people shun alcohol

Young people aged 18-24 are the most sober generation with 39% drinking no alcohol at all, a survey of over 2,000 people by YouGov for the Portman Group suggested. 40% in that age group regularly or occasionally opted for no or low-alcohol alternative beverages, rising to 46% among people aged 25-34.
