Canada: blueprint to help businesses support workers in recovery

The Alberta government is offering businesses a guide to help workers dealing with addiction – and save $8,500 annually per employee. “About 10% of employees in Alberta struggled with substance use in the past in problematic ways and are now in recovery,” Alberta’s minister of mental health and addiction explained.
