Canada’s Supreme Court to rule on Good Samaritan OD law

When helping someone overdosing, a good Samaritan had his truck searched and was charged with an unrelated offence. Now the Supreme Court will define the scope of the country’s Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act which grants some legal protection to people at the scene of an overdose after 911 is called.
