“The public finds the psychotherapy/ counselling landscape and its regulation confusing,” the Law Gazette printed. The BACP, UKCP, BPC and 3 other psychotherapy/ counselling organisations created Scope of Practice and Education, a common framework for the education and training of their members. The transition began in 2024 and will end in 2026.
