FDA to limit addictive nicotine in cigarettes, smoking products

Nicotine levels in cigarettes and cigars would be reduced to non-addictive levels under a new rule proposed by the US Food and Drug Administration, Medical Economics reported. The rule would cap nicotine at 0.7mg per gram of tobacco, not banning smoking products but reducing addiction potential.
