Australia’s Monash University et al found that methylamphetamine is the most common illicit drug in injured and fatal car drivers and motorcyclists in Victoria 2010-2019 – found in 12.3% of fatalities and 9.1% of injured drivers, increasing over time. 16.8% of car drivers and motorcyclists tested positive for one or more drugs, with a fall in alcohol among fatalities.
