Philip Morris International, the largest tobacco company in the world by market cap, is extending its reach into cannabis through its subsidiary, Vectura Fertin Pharma. PMI announced this week a collaboration with Avicanna, a Canadian biopharmaceutical firm specializing in cannabinoid-based medicine.
