BTMPS detected in fentanyl

University of California found that drugs sold as fentanyl contain high amounts of industrial chemical bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate, BTMPS – BTMPS is not approved for human consumption. See also CNN’s Fentanyl in the US: A visual guide.
