Russell Brand shuts charity amid sex assault allegations

UK actor and online content creator Russell Brand closed his addiction charity, the Stay Free Foundation, after sexual assault allegations resurfaced. The UK Charity Commission removed the foundation from the official register of charities in January. It had income of £126,130 and expenditure of £52,353 as of June 2023.
