‘State-of-the-science’ test can reveal risk of addiction

The Comprehensive Addiction Risk Evaluation System (CARES) became available through the Rutgers Addiction Research Center. It costs $149 and takes about 6 weeks to give results. The platform is based on data from over 1.5million people. “It’s the most predictive genetic risk score for any behavioral outcome,” Rutgers claimed.
