Man sentenced for $2.9million addiction treatment kickbacks

Hollywood Hills’ Casey Mahoney of Healing Path Detox and Get Real Recovery was fined $420,000 and sentenced to 41 months in federal prison for paying almost $2.9million in illegal kickbacks for patient referrals to his addiction treatment centers. His brokers got people high before treatment – and “several later overdosed and died”.
