Millions of children live with parents with a substance use disorder

Almost 17million children in the US live with a parent who has a substance use disorder, according to a study led by Texas State University, University of Michigan and Wayne State University: US Youth Exposed to Parental Substance Use Disorder in the Home: A Comparison of DSM-IV and DSM-5 Criteria.
