Only 2 addiction counsellors but 103 on wait list at Cork Prison

As of January this year, there are only 18 counsellors nationally, and 953 people on waiting lists to access addiction treatment in Ireland, including 103 on waiting lists in Cork Prison with only 2 counsellors. Nationally, the sanctioned quota for addiction counsellors is 20, with attempts underway to recruit more.
