Alberta introduces Addiction Recovery Bill

Danielle Smith, the premier of Alberta, and Dan Williams, the minister of mental health and addiction, yesterday introduced legislation to support addiction recovery. The Compassionate Care Act would allow a family member, doctor or police officer to request a mandatory treatment order if necessary.
