Alcohol and other drug treatment services in Australia: early insights from AIHW showed that about 131,900 people received publicly funded treatment or support for alcohol and other drug use from 1,304 agencies, counselling was given in 33% of the 240,958 treatment episodes, and alcohol was of most concern.
