Cannabis-related hospitalisations linked to later mortality

In the Recovery Research Institute’s Recovery Bulletin, Dr Elizabeth Long summarised University of Ottawa et al’s Cannabis use disorder emergency department visits and hospitalizations and 5-year mortality. People who received hospital-based care for a cannabis-related reason had a considerably higher risk of mortality than the general population.
