Gambling firms aim to flood towns with 24-hour slot machines

“Adult gaming centres” – the under-scrutinised network of slot machine arcades – are expanding rapidly on UK high streets. There are now over 14,200 £2-a-spin slot machines, each making £32,600 annually. That adds up to £463million – giving addiction professionals cause for alarm, the Guardian reported.
