Machine learning to help engage in gambling addiction treatment

Professor Matt Field at the University of Sheffield aims to improve engagement with treatment for gambling addiction. Using data from the NHS Northern Gambling Service, researchers will study predictors of treatment retention/dropout and why 40% of those referred do not attend an initial appointment.
