Alcohol is killing more Americans today than 20 years ago

The number of alcohol-related deaths in the US has been rising over the past 2 decades. Last week, physicians across the country said that liver disease deaths had roughly doubled over the course of 20 years, significantly accelerating during and after Covid lockdowns.
