Medetomidine and Xylazine challenges

Medetomidine and Xylazine have been in the US drug supply for years, now increasingly prevalent across the US. They are typically mixed with short acting opioids, mainly fentanyl for synergistic effects. “This is 2+2=8,” Bill Stauffer warned. See also The CDC fact sheet on Medetomidine.
