Prisoners in Scotland need hope not needles

Last month, the Scottish Parliament’s Criminal Justice Committee began its inquiry into how drugs enter prisons and the impact on prisoners, their families and prison staff. Worryingly, the committee heard that about 17% of prisoners who weren’t drug users before prison become substance users there, Mike Dailly reported.
