27% of US jails offer all FDA-approved meds for OUD

Justice Community Overdose Innovation Network researchers found that 27.6% of US jails offer all 3 FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder -methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone – to select individuals, and 16.9% offer them to anyone with opioid use disorder. Many people do not receive recommended care.
