Cannabis substitute is more psychoactive than thought

Hexahydrocannabinol, a synthetic cannabinoid sometimes used in legal ‘recreational’ drugs, can produce effects similar to those of the psychoactive chemicals in cannabis. In 2023, 54% of US vape shops sold HHC and it was available in 45 states. RTI International and the US DEA ran the tests.
