Drug-testing services “risk normalising drug use”

Recovering addict turned campaigner Annemarie Ward of Faces and Voices of Recovery UK warned against plans for drug testing facilities across Scotland without hugely increased investment in rehabilitation. She told the Daily Record that any benefit from the proposed service is ­“unevidenced” and risks normalising drug use.
