The US Drug Enforcement Administration One Pill Can Kill initiative warns of counterfeit pills with fentanyl. In 2024, DEA seized over 60million fentanyl-laced fake pills and almost 8,000 lbs of fentanyl powder: over 380million lethal doses of fentanyl. 2025 fentanyl seizures total over 196million deadly doses.
