Alcohol harm costs workplaces €8.5billion in lost productivity

Alcohol abuse is costing Irish workplaces €8.5 billion a year in lost productivity, according to Alcohol Action Ireland. Its latest report, Alcohol’s Cost to the Workplace, uses national and international evidence to shine a light on the scale of its impact on workers, on employers and on the economy.
