Health experts urged education secretary Bridget Phillipson to stop schools using educational materials funded by the food, drink and gambling industries as they misrepresent evidence about diets, alcohol and betting. Some materials teach young people how to pour wine, distort evidence about alcohol’s role in cancer, and promote gambling, the Guardian revealed.
