House bill for veterans’ drugs

Veterans would have to provide formal, signed consent before doctors could write them prescriptions for narcotics, stimulants and anti-anxiety medicine under House legislation drawing early support from a major veterans’ group: The Written Informed Consent Act covers medications with risks of addiction.
