Alcohol duty uprating

Per yesterday’s Budget, the government will up all alcohol duty rates by 3.66% (Retail Price Index). It will also increase the cash discount to small producers (conditions apply), and the simplified duty rates for calculating personal alcohol import excise. Changes will come into effect 1 February 2026.
