40.8% of online gamblers met the criteria for problem gambling, according to Greo Evidence Insights, Mental Health Research Canada and the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction. Almost 20% reported financial, emotional or relationship harm. Among Canadians aged 18-29, 32% said they gamble online; 69.4% of them met the threshold for problem gambling.
