London drug deaths hotspots

The capital city of London recorded its highest number of drug poisoning deaths since records began over 3 decades ago, new drug death figures from the Office of National Statistics show. 662 people in the capital died after taking drugs in 2024, up 32% from 2023. It is the largest increase across England and Wales.
